The BCFC has been offering workshops on creative business development since its inception in 2017. It began with a focus on artisanship but has expanded over time to include other fields such as design and marketing as well as general business skills education (e-commerce).

How Can I Join?

To join, you need to become a member. There are three ways to do this:

  • Become a Sponsor. As a sponsor, you will be able to help us raise money for our programs and events by purchasing tickets or donating items at shows or fundraisers. This can also include transporting people from one event location to another or providing venue parking passes for artists who wish not have their own vehicles available during their performances at the council’s venues.* Become an Artist/Designer/Vendor.
  • You may submit proposals for design ideas that fit within the mission of Baton Rouge Fashion Council (BRFC). If selected, your design(s) will be featured on BRFC merchandise sold throughout its annual fashion show which takes place each spring* Volunteer as an Artist*.
